Spacewell is hiring an enthusiastic Product Owner for managing our standard integrations. Your local office will be located at Antwerp (Belgium) or Arnhem (The Netherlands). As a Product Owner, you are a real expert on the product’s functional aspects. Next to that, you translate high level product requirements into tangible functional software requirements. A day on the job
- 8.45 AM: You start your first day of the week by checking your mailbox. After that, you schedule a short meeting to inform product management on detailed roadmap progress.
- 9.30 AM: You start working on the next software requirements specification. You are in fact responsible for the translation of the user stories to tangible (functional) software requirements.
- 10 AM: You have a call with one of the product managers to discuss potential impact on new product ideas.
- 11 AM: After your coffee break, you enter the Teams Meeting to deliver clear instructions to the development team and answer functional questions they might still have.
- Noon: Lunch time!
- 1 PM: You check the progress on the currently ongoing sprint. In fact, you are responsible for the day-to-day roadmap execution.
- 2 PM: You enter a meeting together with the design team in order to explore new functional ideas by creating low-fidelity mock-ups.
- 3 PM: You start to create the product release notes for the upcoming release.
- 3.30 PM: You enter you last Teams Meeting of the day, defining whether the final product/feature is acceptable for being released to our clients.
- 4 PM: To end up your work day, you do your last check-up to safeguard product quality. This concludes, being the final functional tester of newly finished features before they are released on the staging environment.

Furthermore, as a Product Owner you will assist the support team in 3rd line as the ultimate product expert. Next to that, you spend a lot of time with internal engineering and less time on outward facing or business-centric tasks. You become the center of providing engineering teams detailed feedback on deliverables and product vision to complete the feedback loop.
What about the team?
As a Product Owner, you are the perfect sparring partner to discuss detailed functional topics and high-level technical topics (infrastructure, architecture) and other inward-facing work with our engineering- & design teams. You as the Product Owner knows the product/feature very well and act as a central point to make sure your whole team have the right, detailed information. To conclude, you will work closely with the whole product management team and business stakeholders to align on business value, problems, statements and customer pain points. You will report directly into the SVP Product.
Could this be you?
- You have 3 or more years experience in building enterprise grade SaaS products at scale.
- You have 2 or more years experience with Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban…).
- People would describe your mindset as a problem-solving one.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for technical and non-technical audiences (e.g., executive, management, technical team, individual contributors). Understanding and talking Dutch is a plus.
- You have the ability to connect with technical intricacies of a global, enterprise-grade software and to lead diverse, international distributed teams.
- Although real experience and mindset are of primary importance, a Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Engineering or other related fields would be a great plus.
- You already worked with IoT, multi-tenant or cloud-native SaaS platforms.
