It is therefore not a surprise that the entire organization uses our dashboards to run their business and make smart decisions.
The role
Do you get energy when you can develop dashboard solutions that gives your target user new means of following up their business? Is your day successful when you can use your knowledge in business intelligence, data processing and data visualization to design and develop new reports and dashboards?
Do you enjoy cross-departmental collaboration and demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills? In your role you will work closely with the marketing department where you excel in translating business into an optimal dashboard design.
Do you like to work in a team that delivers data-driven products and solutions to the entire organization by using advanced data visualization technology and advanced data analytics? You will work together with data engineers that ensure the setup of performant data pipelines and with data analysts to give insights and then develop the dashboard. We are looking for someone who has an earlier experience with Business Intelligence tools. We are currently using PowerBI and MicroStrategy, but since most BI tools share similar concepts, specific background in these tools is not a must.
You will be part of a larger community of practice of BI developers and business process experts and will be mentored by one of these community members, with whom you will share best practices and can turn to for advice. Together we continuously learn and improve our way of working.

To accomplish this role, you should have:
- A master’s or equivalent degree in Engineering (Business, Industrial, Academic or equivalent)
- Good problem-solving skills
- Affinity to an industrial B2B market will help you
- Excellent knowledge of BI design principle and best practices
- Practical knowledge of BI tools like PowerBI
- Working knowledge of Data modelling techniques such as Star Schema/snowflake
- High self-motivation and getting energy from designing solutions and help others by supporting their process are key for success.
Having exposure below skillsets is an added advantage:
- Knowledge of O365 Power platforms ETL
- Business process mapping (BPM)
- Exposure/certification on agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFE
