Your Responsibilities At C&A
Reporting to the Head of DC Management Europe:
- Supervise, develop and train line managers and team members to deliver high value service solutions to all parts of the business.
- Generate and lead risk management of warehouse operations, and execute comprehensive mitigation solutions in order to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Evaluate and realise the storage strategy to create an efficient operational business solution.
- Analyse operational excellence based on KPI's, and lead efficiency and continuous improvement programmes to optimise cost-benefit results for the shops.
- Communicate and cooperate with shop representatives, departments, stakeholders and service providers to manage expectations, targets and achievable service levels.
- Plan, direct and optimise the cost budget of the Distribution Centre in order to achieve operational excellence and reduce costs.
- Identify market and shop needs and design viable, efficient and innovative service solutions to meet needs and requirements.
What We Expect Of You
- Master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, transport management, business administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics.
- experience in managing large operational units, including personnel management and cooperation with social partners
- Proven experience in the development and implementation of new policies, processes and systems applications in international business.
- Experience in lean logistics and continuous improvement processes.
- High level of Dutch and English. Reporting to the European team. Knowledge of French is an asset.
- High level of commitment, flexibility, creativity and reliability.
