Conduct Risk Officer (Perm or Freelance) [Belgium]

 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the financial institution adheres to the regulatory requirements and guidelines set forth by MiFID.
• Identifying and assessing potential conduct risks within the organization's operations, products, and services.
• Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate conduct risks and promote fair treatment of clients.

• Providing training and guidance to employees on MiFID regulations, conduct risk management, and ethical conduct.
• Regularly monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of conduct risk management practices and reporting any breaches or concerns to senior management.
• Serving as a point of contact for regulatory authorities and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of conduct risk-related matters.

Profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and guidelines in the financial industry, including MiFID (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive).
• Min 4 years of experience in risk management and conducting risk assessments.
• Proficient in both French and English languages.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
